This was the first specifically developed aquarium lighting tube. The Triton light spectrum is based on the light spectrum requirements of corals and plants and also takes into account the light absorption of water. The result is a lamp that concentrates all of its power output in the areas of the spectrum, which penetrate water and is utilized by plants/corals. This is unique approach compared to daylight (6500K-colour temperature) imitation lamps, which waste power in unnecessary areas of the spectrum.
