DK900 Cooler With Thermostat

DK900 Cooler With Thermostat

Power Consumption:

890W

Deltec manufacture a range of larger coolers suitable for medium to large aquariums. They do not manufacture the low cost models that are currently being imported for smaller systems

When
ordering coolers, manufacturers generalise by stating "Suitable for aquariums of so many gallons", at Deltec we believe this to be very misleading. To enable you to compare various manufacturers prices and not to be confused, you should obtain the power consumption of the cooler and cooling wattage.

Gas - (134A)

As we use the latest refrigerant gas you can be assured that our coolers are technically efficient and environmentally friendly.

Digital Thermostatic Controls

You can also purchase our coolers WITH or WITHOUT digital thermostatic controls and for those purchasers who already have an IKS computer system they can use their IKS to control the cooler without the digital temperature controller.

Good Practice

It is good practice when installing a DK1400 cooler with IKS computer system to use a contactor which should be installed between the plug bar and the cooler.

Flows

It is important to have the correct water flow through the coolers and we have given you the best guidance notes that we can, however, for a cooler to work at its most efficient there should be between 1.0 to 1.5 degree temperature drop, as stated in our specification and it may be necessary to slow the water flow to the cooler to achieve this.

Guarantee Our heat exchangers are guaranteed for use in both salt and fresh water.
