The MS AK 400 External is a skimmer designed to hang outside the aquarium, its small size providing optimum performance with minimum volume, without altering the general aesthetics of the aquarium.
Made from top quality cast acrylic, its special design prevents accidental water spillage when cleaning the collector chambers or due to blockages in the air pipe, making it one of the safest systems on the market.

The interior of the skimmer has been designed to retain the water-air mixture as long as possible, so that the water returns to the aquarium free from air bubbles.
The new "Aloisi" injector makes it possible to obtain maximum aeration with the smallest possible bubbles. Injection is carried out directly to the central part of the needle wheel, producing excellent air-water mixture, extending the pump's useful life and minimising vibrations.
Skimming can be adjusted easily by loosening the screw that holds the collector cup, which can then be moved up or down to control the desired quality of the skim foam (from very dry to very wet).
